The brief
Matt Anglim, owner and operator of Event Essentials decided to expand his empire and launch a new business specialising in red carpet events. Event Carpet Systems needed a web presence that included services, prices and evidence of their expertise and experience.
The Solution
I worked with Matt to establish the project requirements, and sketched our ideas a wireframes, which included content segmentation and page designs. I then came up with a visual design and wrote HTML/CSS. Those templates were integrated into a customised installation of the Expression Engine CMS solution.
Melissa Cater is Matt’s writer of choice – she is adept at interviewing clients about their industry and specialist offering to customers – and she wrote case studies, services descriptions and a company profile, which I entered into the new website for launch.
Matt and his team had indicated that they wanted to manage content updates inhouse so I scripted and produced customised, narrated video screencasts explaining how to use the CMS.
